Vintage Design <\/p>\n

\nVintage, mid-century, two-tiered, side table\/guéridon\/standing floor shelf, with a brass-colored structure, and removable black glass shelves, circa 70’s.<\/p>\n

The overall structure is made of brass-colored metal, featuring slim, tubed legs with lovely finials above the top shelf, finishing on feet with a “lathe turned” effect, below the lower shelf. Both shelves are made of black glass with rounded edges, that rest on rectangular-shaped frames, also with rounded edges (see photos.)<\/p>\n

Piece is in overall very good, original and vintage condition, with some very light marks, signs of age, small areas of slightly faded color, and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, on the overall structure, finials, edging, glass shelves, legs and feet (see photos.) The glass shelves are both clean with no cracks or chips (see photos.) A couple of very light, fine hairline marks on the top shelf, and some minuscule, previous signs of use on the lower shelf, (see photos next to a French, 1 cent coin), but nothing that affects the overall beauty or function of the piece. The structure has maintained a nice sheen and golden color that really pops, in contrast with the black shelves (see photos.)<\/p>\n

A timeless piece with a sleek, elegant design, that be used in any given space, be it in an entryway, as a side or end table in a living room, den, or library, a nightstand in a bedroom, a telephone table or small bookshelf. Can also be used in a bathroom for storage\/organization, as a plant stand or accent piece upon which to place other decorative objects. <\/p>\n
