The Mies armchair was born in 1969 from the idea of using a strip of para or rubber, resistant and elastic materials, as a seat. The structure, a triangle in chromed metal, highlights the purity of the silhouette. The headrest cushion and the illuminated footrest are in pony. The name highlights the analogy of its structure with the projects of Mies van der Rohe and pays homage to the great master who died the same year. In its rigorous geometry the Mies armchair summarizes the philosophy of the Archizoom Associati, leading members of the Italian Radical Movement, born around the second half of the 1960s.<\/span><\/p>\n
