Sofa bed Robin Day 1980 Habitat edition Daybed by English designer Robin Day from Habitat 1980 editions. Hille London published it in the ’50s. This sofa won the Design Centre Award in 1957. It has been fully restored by our upholsterer: Anthracite gray fabric made in France, new HR 35 foam, new straps, new box spring cover. Very comfortable. Ingenious, the backrest easily tilts back to create a resting or permanent bed. Very good condition. The structure rests on a black metal base. The armrests are in teak. They have a discreet patina of age. Habitat has produced design icons such as Junzo Sakakura’s chairs, Robert Mallet-Stevens’s chaise longue, Tam-Tam stools… W 206 cm H 69 cm D 86 cm
