Vintage Design
This lounge chair model “Progetti” was designed by the Italian designer Umberto Asnago and produced in the 1970s by the Italian company Giorgetti. The armchair frame is made of black painted wood, and the end of the armrests is made of walnut finished with varnish. The wooden elements are in good condition with defects visible in the photos. The seat and backrest of the armchair have been reupholstered with a beige fabric made of a mixture of linen, cotton and viscose, resembling in its texture the materials originally used in the 1960s. There is a manufacturer’s signature on the underside of the chair.
