Danish Modern Minerva Teak Daybed by Hvidt & Mølgaard for France & Søn, 1960s.
Elegant Danish Mid-Century Modern daybed or sofa model FD 417 designed by Danish architects Peter Hvidt og Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for France & Daverkosen, Denmark.
Frame in solid teak, supported by four round tapered legs. Two armrests in solid teak mounted on chromed brackets. Rectangular solid backrest also mounted on chromed brackets. Spring mattress and cushions with original grey wool upholstery.
Makers mark with serial number.
Very good original condition. All original springs in good condition. One hole in fabric on the underside of the mattress. Light patina consistent with age and use.
