Ancient slabbed flap. Completely veneered in walnut and walnut root, it dates back to the end of the 18th century. Wavy front marked by three drawers delimited by a projecting frame made of wood cut at the head, the feet are connected by a shaped apron. The straight drain conceals two compartments inside, two drawers centered by a herringbone-paved door; in front of this, a sliding shelf hides a secret compartment with two side drawers.
The sides with squares reflect the same scansion as the cabinet with cherry threads. Ideal for decorating the hall or entrance. This eighteenth-century flap has exceptionally small dimensions, comes from a private house in Milan, has been completely restored and is now in a good state of conservation. In the photo gallery you can see images of the furniture before the restoration.
