Offered is a set of four “Floriform” glass bowls made in Italy by Dansk Designs that resemble the “Cow Parsley (Koiran Putki)” glass collection originally designed by Pertti Kallionen for Lasisepät Mäntsälä, a lesser known Finnish glass-maker that operated from 1978 until 2003 when it was acquired by Iittala.

The bowls can also be used as candle votives and are very textured with the pattern on the exterior surface, made by blowing the glass into a wooden mold.

They measure 5″ in diameter, have textured bases that are 2.25″ in diameter, and are 2.875″ in height.

This vintage Black Walnut bowl is a beautiful example of Bob Stocksdale’s masterful woodworking. Signed by the artist on the bottom, this piece showcases the clean lines and organic forms characteristic of Mid-Century Modern design.

The bowl has developed a rich patina over years of use, which has been carefully cleaned to preserve its character.

The bowl features a flared rim that widens to 11 inches and tapers down to a 5-inch base.

Bob Stocksdale was a self-taught artist. He experimented with various techniques, pushing the boundaries of woodturning. He wasn’t afraid to try innovative approaches, like creating serpentine and ellipsoidal shapes on the lathe.
