Mid century elm low open bookcase by ferdinand lundquist circa 1950. very good quality sideboard/low open bookcase by swedish designer ferdinand lundquist. made in elm, with an unusual stepped front. 1 piece elm veneered top surface which shows the full size of the timber used. single door cupboard opens to 2 shelves, with a further 2 adjustable shelves in the main body. standing on 6 tapered legs. complete with original key and designers label on the inside of door. recently re-polished in our workshop, very minor non structural age split to top surface which is photographed. minor surface marks to woodwork.

mid century scandinavian dark birch low open bookcase circa 1950. good quality swedish birch bookcase which has been stained to the colour of walnut. very slight over-sailing top, with a lockable single door cupboard to the right hand side, which opens to reveal a contrasting polished birch interior and 2 shelves. main body of the bookcase with 2 adjustable shelves for book and decorative objects. standing on 4 tapered feet. recently re-polished in our workshop. 2 areas of restoration to door front, which have been photographed. good rich colour and ready for everyday use.
