This plant holder or sellette is from the French mid-century period. It has been made in the Dudouyt Style. Walnut. Very good condition.

Sheath-shaped pedestal in mahogany from Cuba. The upper part rests on four columns, its top is in black marble. The lower part opens with three drawers with buttons, its top has a recessed black marble. Oak pits. 19th century period.

A brass box with a sloping lid, which is embossed: Be tide and your shoes will be here. There are forged relief ornaments. The box was probably used to store various brushes, waxes and shoe polish, and it is convenient to lift your legs on the sloping lid. It may have been used for the household and by street waxers, to earn a living.

Great palisander pedestal from the early Art Nouveau period in Austria, circa 1900. Impressing with a timeless design, this beautiful pedestal convinces with its straight shaped form, veneered in fine palisander. The base shows lovely brass applications on each corner. The top plate floats on four slim rectangular columns, all covered by beautiful brass on both ends. Although this pedestal is nearly 120 years old, it would fit perfect to many kind of interior designs through its everlasting appearance. Useable as a classic flower pedestal but also perfect for displaying your ceramics, busts or other valuable collectibles.
