Arne Jacobsen was a master Danish designer. There is an anecdote that in his childhood, he colored the walls white, which was not a common interior color at that time, foreshadowing the modern designs that would later be created from his original ideas. Combined with the development of industry that could reproduce streamlined forms reminiscent of the near future, he produced many products with an identity different from that of other designers. The Seven Chair is one of the pieces that can be said to be synonymous with him, and since its design in 1955, it has been in production until the present day, and has been so well finished and loved that it is no exaggeration to say that it represents not only Scandinavian design but also chairs from around the world.
