Gorgeous French Art Nouveau side table / gueridon by Emile Gallé model: Plate 162. Designed produced in 1905-1910. This is an antique original and not some reproduction. Amazing triangular model with 2 tiers of inlaid marquetry decorations depicting floral scenery of flowers, leaves and stems. This table incorporates naturalistic lines in its three legs, which branch off like flower stems. hand carved from solid walnut with superb details. The floral design of the base matches the scenery on the inlaid decoration, resulting in a gorgeous combination that is not only a piece of furniture but also a piece of art. The table top singed ”Galle” in inlaid wood. Proof/literature: Galle Furniture, Alastair Duncan & Georges De Bartha 2012. Page 192. There is also a similar table in the Collection of the Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art.
