Rare Edward Wormley design coffee table model 5309 for Dunbar Furniture. Iconic mid-century modern coffee table made by the highest quality American manufacturer’s from the period. Embracing new asymmetric shapes for open floor plans and sophisticated interiors that highlight sculptural beautiful pieces. Made with turned rosewood conical legs and a sculpted brass base with original asymmetric glass top. In very good original condition that still presents very well. The glass top is free of chips around the edges and only minor scuffs to the thick top. There are minor chips around the holes where the brass screws connect to the rosewood legs beneath the glass. This is a rare and important example of Edward Wormley’s work for Dunbar and is an iconic design from the mid-century modern era.
